Chicken first, garlic near the end
Bite-size chicken, butter, garlic, Parmesan and parsley are the center of this saved recipe. Its short ingredient list leaves the sequence in the pan easy to follow.
The chicken browns in batches, and the garlic enters near the end. The size of the pieces and the space in the pan therefore matter to how the meal comes together. The main course also needs to fit alongside whatever is being served with it.
I have not cooked this version yet. Patty Catalano’s original recipe provides the full instructions; the notes here introduce the dish without assigning it a household verdict.

A few details to watch
- Chicken piece size and the number of batches
- The point at which garlic enters the pan
- What was served alongside and when it was ready
Small pieces make the sequence visible
The saved method’s short list of ingredients puts attention on the batch work. Chicken size affects the pieces sharing the skillet, while the garlic enters later in the sequence. Those are the parts to preserve in a first cooking account, rather than reducing the result to the words “quick dinner.”
The serving plan also deserves a line of its own. Chicken bites may be the main item, but the evening still includes whatever goes beside them and the point at which it is ready. Recording the number of skillet batches and the accompanying food would make the account useful for another night. The August chicken photograph introduces the broader food collection; a photograph of this exact recipe would be a separate addition.
