Schweickart Media

Building an independent publishing business from original experience, research, and a growing archive.

I choose the subjects, develop the questions, review the evidence, and turn the material into articles and practical applications. Industry is one major area of work alongside technology, history, games, home projects, and other subjects.

What I have built

A source-linked industry library

The Danfoss and Eaton dossier connects the market definitions, divestiture requirements, timeline, and evidence needed to assess the remedy. Other articles address equipment demand, hydraulic-cylinder trade, and sourcing decisions.

A way to connect the source material

Recordings, photographs, documents, and previous research give each project a record to work from. I use that context to develop the subject and revise the work, including these websites.

A commercial structure

Sponsorship, advertising, professional-network inquiries, and market-information work provide ways to discuss support and commercial scope.

What I would build with more resources

I would add research and editorial capacity, develop reporting with willing industry participants, and establish a repeatable production and distribution process. The next step is a focused pilot that measures the work required, audience response, and commercial fit.

This is a business I am developing. Completed articles and working applications demonstrate the work to date; a larger production team, recurring revenue, and a wider audience are objectives to test.
