Origins stay with each preparation
The April recordings and August photographs belong to different preparations. Their linked stories keep the garden ingredients, photographed batches and unresolved recipe details separate.

What changes between the pitcher and the glass
The August 13 photographs offer three useful views of one preparation: the mixture in the jug, the pour and the filled jar. Dark flecks remain visible in each. The sequence makes the drink’s appearance easier to follow than a single finished-glass photograph would.
The April lunch asks a different question: how ingredients from the garden worked in a drink I was adjusting and tasting. The favorable pineapple comment belongs to that lunch. The August 24 ingredients have their own date and their own starting point. Giving each preparation a separate account makes future additions more useful: a quantity, ingredient identification or tasting note can attach to the batch it actually describes.
