Cooking and food

Two August cooking stories

Stuffed peppers and thin-cut steak, each with its own preparation account and photographs.

Origins stay with each preparation

The peppers and steak have different cooking accounts. Each linked story retains its own cook, equipment and recipe-source limits.

Two preparations, two stories

The peppers have a personal detail the steak account does not: I identified who made them and recorded a favorable reaction afterward. Their story belongs with those two views of the cooker and container. Finding the actual recipe would add the missing method, rather than borrowing one because the finished peppers look similar.

The steak has its own visual movement, from two separated pieces on the flat top to the overlapping cuts on the plate. It belongs in a separate account of using the Blackstone. Keeping the two preparations apart gives each room for its own ingredients, cooking decisions and eventual recipe, if those details become available.
